JOB TITLE:  Retail Customer Service Associate
TIME TYPE:  Full Time and Part Time; Open 7 days a week
LANGUAGE:  English
LOCATION:  TBD; NEAR MAVIS ROAD AND HIGHWAY 401
RATE:  Starting from $16.00-$18.00/hour; eligible for increase upon successful completion of 3 months probationary period.

 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES (FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED)

  • Provide the best customer service anywhere!
  • Warm and inviting greeting to all guests entering the store or calling in
  • Answer questions, inform guests of promotions; ZERO sales pressure, window shopping welcome
  • Be alert and observant in order to proactively assist guests with any need, particularly the elderly, parents with children, or anyone with special needs; Be willing to go above and beyond for an unforgettable experience
  • Helping guests with their shopping when needed in a courteous and friendly manner
  • Build rapport; maintain a relaxed yet professional and competent atmosphere
  • Help guests to checkout when they have completed their shopping as efficiently as possible
  • Ensure quickest possible experience for busy guests without sacrificing service level
  • Maintain an immaculate, neat and tidy appearance of the store
  • Ensure restocking of items on all shelves; merchandising to maintain appearance of shelves
  • Multitask for quick, efficient and productive completion of required tasks
  • Be integral to the team, offer feedback and ways to improve experience for all guests
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times
  • Adhere to uniform requirements
  • Stay current on promotions, changes and new product information
  • Follow instructions accurately and complete duties efficiently as assigned 

JOB QUALIFCATIONS

  • Must have Social Insurance Number (SIN)
  • Previous experience an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required; Excellent command of English language
  • Must be able to use computers and other technologies related to the position
  • Must be proficient in simple math to handle checkout, cash and balance register
  • Must be a team player; positive and proactive attitude with a desire to excel
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds if needed
  • Punctuality and reliable attendance is essential
  • Must be honest, gracious and have integrity
  • Must be a great communicator
